The course will begin on Thursday, May 1, 2025 insha Allah. The first term will end with the final exam falling on June 27, 2025. There will be a break from June 28, 2025 to July 6, 2025. The second term will commence on July 7, 2025 and end with the final exam falling on August 30, 2025.
The daily schedule for these first two terms in person will have classes starting at 8 AM and will consist of 4 to 5 classes a day. Zuhrayn prayers will be held in Jamāʿah and will be followed by a lunch break. In addition to class time, students must spend at least two hours a day for their studies and at least two hours for mubāhatha – a study-centred discussion reviewing the material covered in class with one or more classmates. Traditionally, one student will read a passage and explain it while others will argue, question or comment on his explanation. This enriches the learning experience as it helps everyone add new perspectives to the text being studied – daily.
